On one hand, the mosaics of some of the world's most renowned monuments, restored and/or newly created using a traditional and age-old manual technique of Byzantine origin; on the other hand, the floors and coverings of ships and numerous prestigious environments crafted with an extremely innovative, technological, and sustainable material. Two extremes that are part of the same reality: the TREND Group. Established in 2000 from an idea by Pino Bisazza, who, together with his most experienced collaborators, decided to create an entity capable of harmoniously combining Italian artistic tradition with the latest production technologies, all while respecting the environment. "Giving shape to people's dreams is what fuels our passion" is their corporate motto, encapsulating these two facets in the best possible way.
The group is thus composed of two distinct entities: the Italian one, solidified through the acquisition of Fornace Orsoni in the heart of the city of Venice in 2003, which represents the epitome of mosaic craftsmanship; the other is the American branch, with its headquarter in Miami, where the special etherium® By E-Stone slabs are produced, renowned for their strength and flexibility, thereby playing a significant industrial role in TREND's development. The company's exceptional specialization is also called upon for truly unique projects, a blend of art and industry, such as the golden mosaic catwalk created for the Bulgari High Jewelry and High-End Watches Brand Event during the Venice Biennale, unveiling a new jewelry collection.
The union of these two facets has enabled an ongoing process of global expansion. The Group has established a presence in Dubai, with a significant division in Brunei, overseeing operations throughout the Far East, and is in the process of opening a representative office in Saudi Arabia. The objective of developing the Indian market continues with the support of a factory in India, producing and marketing mosaics locally and in neighboring areas on behalf of the Group, generating a return of 3 million. The goal is to double this result in the near future.
At the national level, numerous projects are taking shape for the years to come. Among these, Orsoni Venezia 1888 has plans to renovate a space named Scola, with a dual purpose: preserving their tradition by integrating new employees into an educational path, consisting of mosaic courses which allow artisans and artists to work side by side.
Roberto Fabbri, CEO of TREND Group, stated, "Beauty knows no bounds, whether it embraces innovation or follows tradition, and even more so when wisely choosing to pursue both paths."
Thanks to the involvement of illimity, on the financial front, TREND has regained the necessary flexibility to pursue its development path. The Bank, indeed, acquired the Group's pre-existing financial credits and subscribed to "participatory financial instruments" simultaneously. Furthermore, it provided a short-term credit line to support the group's operations.
